I’m Andrea with ESL Basics, and this is your “Audio Minute”. Today, I’m going to compare the sounds “ra” and “la”. “Ra” as in “R” and “la” as in “L”. We will practice these by saying minimal pairs. Minimal pairs are when two words are said and only one sound in the two words is different.
You can repeat after me. The first word with be the word with the sound “ra” as in “R” and the second word will be the word with the sound “la” as in “L”. So say them with me!
