Audio Transcript of this Free English Lesson:
Hi, I’m Andrea with ESL Basics, and previously, I taught you about pre-closing: how to end a conversation. Well, now I want to tell you some closings other than just “bye”. Pre-closings come before closings, because they say “pre”, and closings are the last thing you say to someone as you leave a conversation. So, I will give you five different closings that you can say other than “bye”.
Number 1. Good night.
Number 2. Have a nice day.
Number 3. Talk to you later.
Number 4. Take care.
And number 5. See ya.
Those closings are ways that you can close a conversation, and I’m Andrea with this “Audio Minute”, and this is ESL Basics.

So you’re conversations can go on through the whole night, right Mami? 🙂
Some situation I could not using those words because they still asking like “how was your vacation?” , “how is your life?” I cannot say “bye” or “talk to you later”. Perhaps those questions getting improve my English ^^
They are definitely expressions that have to be learned in order to make the other person feel like your conversation is closing.
I usually use 1,2, and 5. Later, I’ll try others.
